Frequently Asked Questions
Before we can start your project, you must electronically sign your quote and make the required project deposit. Work cannot begin until both the signed quote and deposit are received by our office.
Our office will text you between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM the day before your scheduled work with an estimated arrival window. These times are good-faith estimates, and we always strive to arrive as close to the scheduled time as possible.
On the first day of sanding, our technicians will sand a small section of your floor and apply up to five stain samples. This allows you to see how each color looks in your home’s lighting and with your existing wall colors and wood type before making a final decision.
To minimize dust, please cover vents and air returns, place plastic coverings in doorways, cover kitchen cabinets if applicable, and remove window treatments when possible. Access to the electrical panel will also be required during sanding.
We move large furniture items only, such as sofas, large tables, wall units (empty), dressers (with drawers removed), mattresses (bed frames must be dismantled), and bookcases (empty). We do not move electronics, personal items, décor, area rugs, or delicate or heavy specialty items.
Billing is issued as each portion of work is completed, and payment is due at that time. For sanding-only projects, two-thirds of the total cost is due before scheduling, and final payment must be made before the final coat of finish is applied.
