1. Who We Are and What This Covers

Gorsegner Brothers Hardwood Floors ("we," "us," or "our") is a hardwood flooring contractor based in Holmdel, New Jersey. This policy explains what we collect through www.gorsegnerbrothers.com (the "Site"), why we collect it, who helps us handle it, and how to ask us to delete it. It covers the Site only. If you hire us, the work itself is covered by the written estimate and agreement for that job.

2. What We Collect

What you type into our estimate form

Your first and last name, phone number and email address. All four are required, because we need them to reach you about your project.

What is sent along with it

When you submit the form we also record which page you sent it from, the page that referred you to us, whether you were on a phone or a computer, and the time. This tells us which page brought you in and helps us separate real requests from automated spam.

Where you came from

If you reach the Site from an ad or a link with campaign tags in the address (such as utm_source or a Google click ID), we save those tags in your browser's local storage for 30 days. If you come back later and send a request, we still know which ad or link found you. The tags are not tied to you personally unless you submit the form.

Taps on our phone, text and email links

When you tap one of our phone numbers, text links or email links, we record that the link was tapped and on which page. This is a record of the tap only. We do not record your phone call through the Site.

Calls to the number shown on the Site

We use CallRail for call tracking. The phone number you see on the Site may be a CallRail tracking number that forwards straight to our office. When you call it, CallRail records the number you called from, the time and length of the call, and which page or ad you were viewing, so we can tell which pages and ads lead to phone calls. To do this, CallRail sets a cookie in your browser when you visit the Site.

General site usage

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to see how the Site is used overall: which pages are read and which buttons are clicked. These load after you interact with the page or after a few seconds. They do not receive what you type into the form.

A recording of your visit

We use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors move through the Site: scrolling, taps, clicks and mouse movement. We watch these recordings to find pages that confuse people and fix them. Clarity hides the text you type into form fields before the recording is saved, so your name, phone number and email are not in it.

Advertising

We advertise on Google and on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Both place cookies on the Site so we can measure which ads lead to real estimate requests, and so you may later see our ads on other websites and apps. When you submit the form or tap to call or text, we let Google and Meta know that it happened so they can tell us which ads are working. Meta may use a scrambled (hashed) version of the email address or phone number you entered to match that visit to a Facebook or Instagram account. Meta cannot read the original from the scrambled version.

Checking that ad clicks are genuine

We use ClickCease, a click-fraud service. It looks at technical signals from your browser and device to work out whether a visit came from a real person or an automated bot, so we are not paying for fake ad clicks. It does not need your name or anything you type.

Our map and reviews

Our pages show a Google map of our showroom and a display of our Google reviews provided by Elfsight. These load content from Google and Elfsight, which receive your IP address and basic browser information, as any website you visit would.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for or store payment card details anywhere on the Site. There is no account to create and no password.

3. How We Use It, and How We Contact You

Sending us your details is a request for us to contact you about your project. We may call, text or email you to ask questions, give you an estimate, schedule the work and follow up on it. Texts come from our business number and are about your request, your estimate or your scheduled work, including appointment reminders. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or simply tell us.

After you submit the form, we send a confirmation email so you know your request came through. Customers and people who have requested an estimate may also receive occasional emails from us, such as seasonal floor care tips or offers. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link.

We also use what you send us to:

• Prepare estimates, schedule and carry out the work you asked about
• Keep records of your project and stand behind our work
• Understand which pages and ads bring in real work, so we spend our advertising budget sensibly
• Improve the Site

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with anyone else for their own marketing.

4. Who Else Handles Your Information

A small number of companies handle information on our behalf, each under its own privacy terms:

• Google: your request is saved to a private spreadsheet in our Google account. Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads provide the site analytics and ad measurement described above, and Google Maps shows our location.
• Zapier: passes your request from the Site into the system we use to manage our jobs.
• Jobber: where we keep requests, estimates, schedules and invoices, and which sends our appointment reminders and follow-up texts and emails.
• Resend: sends the confirmation email after you submit the form.
• Mailchimp: sends our occasional emails to customers and past estimate requests.
• Meta: measures our Facebook and Instagram advertising, as described above.
• Microsoft: Clarity makes and stores the recordings of how the Site is used, with typed form fields hidden.
• CallRail: provides the tracking phone numbers on the Site and records which page or ad led to each call.
• ClickCease: checks whether clicks on our ads came from real people.
• Elfsight: displays our Google reviews on the Site.
• Hostinger: hosts the Site and keeps standard server logs.
• Summit Media: the agency that builds and manages the Site and our advertising, and can see the same requests we do.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, our business or anyone else.

5. Cookies and Your Choices

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. The Site and the services above use them for analytics, session recordings, call tracking and advertising measurement. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Site will still work, and our estimate form does not depend on them.

To stop seeing our ads as you browse, use Google's ad settings and the ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings. To stop Clarity from recording your visits, use Microsoft's Clarity opt-out.

6. How Long We Keep It

We keep estimate requests and project records for as long as we need them to do the work, stand behind it and keep proper business records. Campaign tags saved in your browser expire after 30 days on their own, and clearing your browser data removes them right away.

7. Your Rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us not to use your information for targeted advertising. Call or email us and we will take care of it. You do not need to give a reason.

New Jersey residents may have additional rights under New Jersey privacy law. We will respond to every request within a reasonable time, and within any deadline the law sets.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is meant for homeowners arranging work on their property. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

The Site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and your request is stored in access-controlled accounts. No website can promise perfect security, but we keep nothing on the Site that would put a card number or password at risk.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the Site after that means the updated version applies.
