Stain color reads completely differently on a phone or computer screen than it will on your floors. Before you commit to a stain color, we will sand a small area of your floor and lay up to 5 samples for you to choose from. This is the best way to see how the stain will look — taking into account your home's lighting, wall colors and decor as well as the porousness of your wood floors. Choose with confidence from 26 Bona DriFast colors, or a custom blend.

Our Dust Containment System is certified as being 99% dust free. It is the best system on the market today.
Our talented technicians will sand a small area of your floor and lay up to 5 samples for you to choose from. This is the best way to see how the stain will look; taking into account the lighting, wall colors, porousness of your wood floors and various other factors.
Most refinishing jobs take 2–4 days: one day for sanding and staining, then 1–2 days for finishing coats with proper dry time between each coat.
You need to be available on day one for stain selection — that's the only time we require you to be on-site. After that, it really depends on what you can comfortably live with. Most of our clients stay home throughout the entire refinishing process.
A large benefit to our water-based polyurethane is that it is quick-drying. Roughly 3 hours after the coat has been applied, you can walk on the floor. Please do so in a clean, dry rubber-soled shoe, no bare foot or socks. Furniture can go back 24 hours after the final coat has been applied. We suggest you wait 3 full days before laying area rugs.
