Gorsegner Brothers Gives Back

The Ronald McDonald House provides a “home away from home” environment for families of ill-children receiving care at medical facilities near their locations.
Our 6-year-old daughter Natalie Grace has been cancer FREE for 20 months now. While she was in treatment our family was fortunate enough to live just minutes away from the hospital where she was cared for, however many of our friends don’t share this same luxury and therefore depend on warm, loving environments like the The Ronald McDonald House to allow them shelter for a few days or sometimes weeks at a time.
About a month ago, we received a phone call from The Ronald McDonald House in Long Branch for an estimate on what it would cost to have their hardwood flooring sanded and refinished. When we met with the staff member we were inspired by all of the amazing things that they do to help families in need and knew in an instant that this was a perfect opportunity for Gorsegner Brothers to give back and therefore contributed our services to this cause that sits so close to our hearts.
After three days the Ronald McDonald house had beautiful, freshly sanded and stained kitchen floors in a natural red oak with two new posts installed to prop up the kitchen counter tops, for a safer, more appealing eating area. This wonderful staff member from the Ronald McDonald house was floored (no pun intended) by our gesture, however as a family run business we at Gorsegner Brothers truly love what we do and to be honest,there’s just no better feeling than giving back to those who better our community.
